This canvas was the first masterpiece that Romero de Torres executed in his lifetime. It is a 1928 study where it appears partly the contour of a young woman, hair-dressed in an amazing bun leaning over her nape of the neck.
In this delicate subject, the artist summarized all his sensitivity and his aesthetic studies. The painting is one of his little masterpieces. The sensuality of this composition is one of the main painting features of Romero Torres. It can be appreciated in the hair symbiosis or in the apple hold by the model.
